Classic Car Replicas
We will make replicas of the Auburn 856, the Cobra, the Cheetah, a Lamborghini Countach, and a 1934 Ford 3 Window Coupe.
- Have you taken the time to thoroughly compare the quality of all of the various fiberglass bodies available on the market today, or have you just looked at one or two?
- Have you also looked at the structural members in the body, as well as the chassis and suspension?
- Isn't it ridiculous to purchase a lightweight, flimsy, fiberglass body shell that doesn't use a metal backbone, or doesn't have reinforced lip edges or pre-molded door jams?
- Isn't it a mistake if you mate a suspension or a chassis that's too light for the application - that means it's not meant for speed and/or performance.
- Everyone realizes there is more than one way to do a job, what one mechanic likes, another may have a much better way. We urge you to do some common sense thinking and evaluation, as it is easy to spend a lot of cash for a custom fabricated, unproven chassis. It takes more than mating a front end assembly to a tube frame, then sticking a rear suspension on it under a fiberglass body to equal a balanced, proper handling chassis.
- At Classic City Motors, we hand lay 5 layers of glass with resin, reinforce it with tube steel and steel plate for mounting surfaces, and mate with a modern chassis and running gear. Replacement parts that the car companies spent millions developing, you can get down the street, all mounted in that special replica!
